1. Alcoa (9-0)- Finally in Week 10 the Tornadoes will be tested by the # 2 team in the state. Should be an exciting game to watch.

 

2. CAK (9-0)- CAK has taken care of business to get to week 10 against Alcoa. I am sure they are hoping to pull the upset, if not they will meet again in 3 weeks.

 

3. Camden (10-0)- Finishes the regular season 10-0. Very physical and lots of speed. Camden has to be the favorite out of Quad 4 right now. Lions now get a week to rest.

 

4. Milan (8-1)- Milan continues to roll to get home field the first two rounds of the playoffs. Finishes up against Crockett Co.

 

5. Goodpasture (8-1)- Cougars play Greenbriar for the district championship as they try to wrap up the # 1 seed in quad 3.

 

6. Tyner (7-2)- The Rams move up this week after they beat previously ranked Howard very handily. This teams has gotten better every week. They will be a tough out in Quad 2.

 

7. Loudon (7-2)- Loudon continues to roll after two early losses to CAK and Alcoa. I wish this team could move quads to give them an opportunity to make a run in the playoffs.

 

8. Smith Co. (8-1)- The Owls dropped due to the bye week. They play York Institute and if they win will be the 2 seed in Quad 3 unless Goodpasture loses.

 

9. Pearl Cohn (6-3)- Beat Lipscomb last night, and no it is rumored they will be adding the best player in the state in Antonio Richardson, WOW!!!! This could be a darkhorse team this year if they put it all together.

 

10. Polk Co. (8-1)- Reenter the poll this week after Mercy ruling South Pittsburgh. They join murderer's row in Quad 2.

Now new changes this week, however would love to hear others opinions.

I don't see how Richardson would be eligble the remainder of the season. He might attend Pearl-Cohn but I don't see him playing.

He would only be able to play if his family changed their address. Otherwise he would have to sit out bc of the TSSAA rules.

All is family has to do is rent a house in Pearl Cohn's zone, show a bona fide change of address to the TSSAA and he is eligible. Kent Hand did this at WH-Heritage this season.
