I'tavious Mathers

2001 Ralph King (Riverdale) 2,686 yds and 43 TD, is the closest I've seen.

 

No doubt Ralph King was very good and he goes to MTSU to play his football. No doubt that Mathers is very very very good and will probably go where ever he wants to go!

 

I read in the DNJ that some defensive player for Riverdale said there goal was to hold him to 130 yards and that they were "PREPARED" for all his cutbacks and the cutback lanes. I don't think so! He ran over them like a TRAIN running over a penny! He did this on a defense that was only allowing a 109 yards rushing a game. I think the Riverdale play over estimated their ability to stop him or under estimated Mathers, or both!

They are all rushing. I remembered watching him that year so I looked it up on MF site.

Sounds like he had a good season Did he go play college ball!!
