jlmac4
Thought this might be of interest to some of the the Green Wave fans. Canton Mckinley is playing their rival Massillon in what is considered by many as the most storied high school rivalry in the nation, around 20,000 on hand for this one. Game is live now here....will also be available archived. Massillon vs Mckinley
GREENWAVE84EG
Thanks for posting this, I watched it off and on. McKinley won big 40-17. They looked even better today than they did that 1st game back in August. It will be interesting to keep up with them in their playoffs. jlmac4
You're welcome greenwave. I was not impressed by the 10 or 15 personal fouls/unsportsmanlike penalties by both teams. Some as a result of players running their mouths at the referees. Not only shows lack of discipline, but poor coaching. I don't look for either team to get out of the region. On an unrelated sidenote, a DivIII team(Steubenville) made the playoffs at 8-2, but didn't have a single win against an Ohio team. I would bet it's the 1st time ever for this to happen in any state. jlmac4
Wow, I didn't think McKinley/Massillon would make it out of their region, but both lost in round 1 tonight. McKinley, the #1 seed in their region got beat by #8 seed Medina at Fawcett Stadium 31-28. Ohio DivI playoffs are brutal!
