Are you aloud to wear arm sleeves while you wrestle?

The rule hasn't changed. Quote is from this year's book and for sure it was exactly the same last year and the year before. It will be enforced as it always has been. They might be a little confused since their statements about tight fitting and approved by the referee are correct. The only thing they overlooked was the long sleeve part.

Well its also against the law to wash a donkey in a bathtub in TN, but I don't think that law is enforced. From the sounds of the refs posts it doesn't seem like they are going to enforce the short sleeve part of the rule. Rules only matter if they are enforced.

Wait and see...it will be enforced, just as it has been enforced in years past. Ask them to post here again after re-reading the rule. They will more than likely change their tune.

 

Long sleeves are not allowed by rule, tight fitting or not. Some where probably allowed to wear them last year during the regular season simply because the official didn't know the rule. It was strictly enforced at the state tournaments last year. Unfortunately, contrary to your beliefs, not all of the officials know all of the rules.

Some people coughblowthewhistlecough need to learn when they have lost an argument and be quiet. If kids want to wear long sleeves they can. I'd encourage all to wear long sleeves to help cut down on skin infections.

He does not mean sleeves on a shirt. He is talking about a sleeve like a a knee slide, but for the arm. Not really an elbow pad or sleeve, but a compression that covers most of the arm.

OK....no problem with that as long as it is approved by the referee. I must have gotten soap suds in my eye during the whole donkey washing thing and didn't comprehend what the original question was.

Now I have to get the extension cord out so I can blowdry the donkey...he's cold.
