Ha ha, that's a good one. Football players do not have discipline problems at Westview. Coach Coady runs a pretty tight ship, so does Coach Ward for that matter. I played for both of them and let me tell you, I hated standing in that corn field.

 

or while doing up downs having coach coady tell you to go find a muddy spot!! hahaha! :roflol:

Very nice to see that everyone is more looking forward to the game than sitting to trash talk. For all of you that are going to this game, I'll be there a bit early. I'll meet you by the goalpost at the field house end zone before the game. Be nice to see some CoachTers. I'll be in black and gold (obviously), but I'll meet you all over there, say, 6:30? Let's get some cheeseburgers, talk some football, then watch two very good teams take it to each other. Good luck to both teams and I hope all those fans traveling (including myself) arrive safely and have a safe trip home. GO LIONS!

haha i was just thinking that maybe the early 90s... but i havent a clue. as for me i cant make it to the game gotta work.

i have respect for Ward as my older brother played for him at westview.

Why don't they stagger some of the games have some on Thursday night and some on Friday nights it will be some great football games played Friday night hate to miss anything..I will be at the Milan game Friday night i expect Milan 35 Fairview 7....Camden 21 Westview 24 it will close wouldn't put any money on this one. Good Luck to all 4 teams...Its good to see other towns come to watch good games when there teams get beat.

you have seen thme throw the ball? Camden threw the ball 5 times against Manassas. Westview and Camden run a similar offense,however, Westview can decently throw the ball when they have to. Westview will win 17-10

yes i know they can throw the ball O.K. but so can camden the reason we dont throw the ball that much is because we really dont have to unless we are at a third and long thats about it and we usually dont have that many third and longs so im taking camden 28 to 20

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
