Harpeth Hall is a team that everyone should watch out for over the next two years. They have a wide array of good freshmen and sophomores. OVer the next few years they will fight for several state championships.

They will be good this year as well. They are missing one sophomore named Emily Apple right now who has had shoulder problems but especially when she comes back they will be a nice team to compete with Ensworth in Division II

Not only do they have good young talent, but they are very well coached. They could use one more true post player.

I'm afraid I disagree. I have seen both HH and EHS play and this year it will be an EHS blow-out. They have way too many athletes for HH and they are young also. They play 2 Jrs, 3 soph, and three freshman.

I agree that HH is well coached and she gets as much out of her teams as you can get. The only D2 E/M team that will complete with EHS is BA as they return all five starters.

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
