Was an exciting match at Old Timer’s Duals, could go either way

112 – Jacob Stevens (SD#1) pin John Eady (Bay#1) SD 6-3

Stevens’ funky style is a difficult match up for Eady

119 – Brandon Brunner (Bay#2) pin Garrett Alexander (SD nr) Bay 9-6

Brunner just returning to the lineup and may not be 100%

125 – Zach Watson (Bay#1) pin Gage Richmond (SD nr) Bay 15-6

No doubt in my mind

130 – Campbell Lewis (SD#1) dec Bennett Reece (Bay#3) Bay 15-9

Reece just beat Mosely and has been coming on. Lewis has been nicked up.

135 – Alex Manley (Bay#1) pin Jacob Adams (SD nr) Bay 21-9

No doubt in my mind

140 – Stuart Doster (Bay#1) pin Brandon Hunt (SD nr) Bay 27-9

No doubt in my mind

Not sure how to pick this one so SD gets the nod

Shober has been progressing and could turn this around

215 – Billy Swanson (SD#4) pin Bryan Starnes, 22-7 Bay 33-27

Helton may be back

285 – John Mackey (Bay#1) pin Alex Seeley (SD#5) Bay 39-27

Somebody’s getting pinned…I think it will be Seeley

 

Match can potentially go Soddy’s way if they can win 103 and 152 and avoid a pin somewhere although Watson, Manley, Doster, and Mackey pin most every time.

 

Match can get out of hand if the lesser experienced Baylor guys can avoid the pins or if Spencer Craig and David Helton return to the lineup.
