As the Highlanders defeated the likes of Meigs County, Elizabethton, Gibbs (twice), Jellico (twice), # 15 Webb (twice), Loudon (twice-once in the kesslers Holiday classic, once in regular season), Stone Memorial, Kingston, and Saturday Night against Bell County, KY. While there only two loses was to # 23 Grace Christain 48-51, and Halls 49-52. The Highlanders are 17-2. First time they have had a record like this. Also for the first time in a long time they are sitting at top of the district. With CAK coming up on either this monday or tuesday. Coach Duncan is tring to get it moved to Monday @ CAK due to the weather suppose to hit tuesday. The Highlanders are the real deal this year. They will probaly host a region game for the first time in a long time. So while they are sitting at 17-2. For many years past the Highlanders have not been a real strong boys team but this year they are great. Coach Duncan has been a big plus to the program along with his great coaching staff. The Highlanders are the team to deal with in the District as they have played a tough non district schedule. So if you havent had a chance to watch the Highlanders this year you need to make a effort to. Cause the HIGHLANDERS are the real deal this year. They will have great success this year. The win against Stone Memorial was nice, but their other wins are mediocre at best. They have played a lot of bad teams. Halls and Grace Christian are not good losses either. They have a good team this year with good seniors and having Coach Duncan helps. The true test will be in district play. Alcoa, CAK, and Stone Memorial all should finish higher when it's all said and done. Their region is brutal too. Keep an eye on the Highlanders.

According to this website, Scott High defeated CAK (at CAK) 46-44 tonight (1/25/11).

Also tonight, CoachT reports that Gat-Pit was defeated by Carter.

Yes they did beat CAK @ CAK. Tuesday night the Highlanders will host Alcoa. If they can beat Alcoa then beat Kingston or Stone. They will finish first in the District. The Highlanders will be a team to watch come Region Tourment. Also the District is being held at Scott High this year so the Highlanders will have the home court advantage
