NW-TN 'FIRST LOOK' SCRIMMAGE

We are searching for 2 to 4 teams to join us in Dyer, TN for a

'First Look' style scrimmage on Friday: August 5th.

Proposed format (subject to change) is as follows:

 

* One hour scrimmage game for each team with running clock.

* Water break every 15 minutes.

* A minimum of three referees per game.

* No special teams except for two point conversions.

Ball placed in play on the 35 yard line.

Declare punt on 4th down until you pass your opponents 40 yard line.

Inside the 40, four downs only (without declaring a punt)

* Coaches may be on the field behind the offensive line-of-scrimmage with one defensive coach deep in the secondary.

 

The games will start around 6:30 (IF the heat index allows) and the final scrimmage should end around 9:45 PM. The baseball and softball fields will be available for teams to stretch and warm-up. One extra locker room will be available on a limited basis but all equipment and personal belongings will have to be kept on the bus or sidelines during the scrimmages.
