On the subject of 171 Region 3 would have had a medalist had Ethan Beddingfield not gotten injured. Recieved a stinger in his first match of the region tournament and it progressively got worse. He went to the hospital and the doctor said he damaged the brachial plexus (group of nerves that connect to the base of the spine and run down the arm. Controls the upper arm including the feeling in the entire arm except trap muscle). Had a solid shot at medaling.
