I never said they couldn't be beat. I said that Perry County won't beat them and they won't and even if they do it will go as a upset of the year all they would get credit for would be a lucky game.

A lucky game and a Trip to State will be fine with PC. If we were going to win State we would have to play them sooner or later, might as well be sooner.

I would agree but I personally don't think they will get through substate. But like you said they could get lucky but it's rare for Clarksville Academy to be off.

Thats how PC was beaten in the Region Championship. Summertown got LUCKY and hit 70% of their shots. I'll take lucky if that's how you want to put it. Anything can happen in a one and done tournament. Officiating can be a big key also, but I'm sure they will protect Mr BB (but you never know). PC has 4 guys that can knock down the 3 and 4 speedsters that can drive and draw the foul. PC will have trouble guarding the twin towers but I'm sure Coach K (Bobby Knight coached) will formulate a good game plan for all the marbles. Row Vikings Row.

PC is already 1-0 vs. the twin towers, beat em there 8th grade year to put em out of the TNT Tournament... PC can do this, wait and see

Ok if you want to bring that up McEwen beat Perry County 8th grade year and McEwen has all the same players except 1 and that was the post. So don't bring that up because McEwen has never beat CA.

Okay, this is not normal, but I will have to agree with follower93 on this one. Isn't that the year that the official scorekeeper (scoreboard keeper actually) didn't post one of the CA's points and the game should have gone into overtime? I thought that game was in Robertson County, but I could be wrong. So now, you see, CA has had their share of "official complaining" like every other team. I have looked at Perry County's stats, believe me, no on eis taking them for granted. At this level, everyone can have a bad night. Case in point, Ravenwood vs. Clarksville High Girls. Just had to throw that in, Go Clarksville High girls, hammered Ravenwood and going to the State Tournament.

Yes, that's correct the game should have went into overtime and that's the past anyway he should have never brought that up.. Anyway thats beside the point it will be a good game and I'm pulling for CA in it but time will tell.

The Summertown folks are giving your Warriors a hard time on the Summertown vs. McEwen feed on the message board. They don't know what your team is capable of in this sport. I have seen McEwen kick the back ends of some very good teams, and I believe they have been ranked most of the season. CA played summertown last year and shut down their star player. McEwen can do that do, he's good, but not unstoppable. The Region 5 championship game was not vintage mcewen b ball, they did have a bad night, I hope McEwen wins and shows Summertown the door in their own gym. It will be a dog fight though, they don't quit!!

Awesome, couldn't agree more there aren't very many people pulling for McEwen but they for sure don't know what there capable of doing if they play to there highest capability in a game. McEwen was ranked most of the season. I believe they were ranked 6 in state but not sure on that. McEwen has a great team and they will show it Monday night in the so called "BARN".....

Saw something about the kids at summertown standing so close to the floor. McEwen knows how to do that too!!! Very intimidating and I will have to say, CA dreads the fans of McEwen, so Summertown should dread them too! They are faithful to the end and if they open up the 3s, look out summertown!!!

    • It was not ACHS at all, they have zero reason to worry about Clinton.  It had to do with a kid (non football player)  that had a charge and appeared in front of the juvenile judge.  The judge saw that the kid was way behind credit wise for his grade and told him to reappear in a month with a plan to graduate.  When the kid reappeared he had more that twice the credits than one month before.  The judge called BS and contacted the school.  That is what started the investigation.  This involves multiple students, but to this point no athletes are involved.
    • I believe the Covington Chargers travel to Trenton Peabody for a scrimmage today? Anyone going to this? Curious how the Chargers will do.
    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
