gordonsville has been playing some great baseball this season....what do you think is the reason for their success this year....

Wow!!! That is great!!! Good for you guys!!! FCS slipped up and you put it to them. Looks like they may have gotten knocked off their LARGE EGO!!! HA!! HA!! I think their recent recruiting coordinator transferred last year so that may be why they seem to be a little down right now. If they'd make Caven the HC the program would be top notch for years to come. He knows how to bring players in and promote their talents as well!!! Something the current HC has never done. He's a relic that needs to be put out to pasture. Go gordonsville!!! Good luck the rest of the way!

Congrats on the win, but this is not the first district game during the season that FCS has ever lost. They dominate this district and when push comes to shove FCS will when this district and then region...I hope I am wrong and somebody else ends up taking away the crown from them :thumb:

I hear Gordonsville had a day that nothing could go wrong for them and FCS nothing right. I am sure G'ville will keep talking smack, but they still got to play the Commanders again. Remember you can never overlook any team or it will bite you!

      Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.

      I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.

      5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
