They had high expectations last year and the srs worked hard so they could have a great season under their new coach.

 

Exactly!

Warren County rolls out high expectations every year, but don't expect any deep playoff runs anytime soon.

 

The seniors can work as hard as they want to, and it's good to hear that they are doing so. But they have to have talent, AND, in a school as athletically challenged as Warren County tends to be, they need underclassmen support. It isn't like year in and year out they can roll out a class of 30 seniors and have 20 of them starters wth serious skill players mixed in there. A team is only as good as its weakest link usually.

Warren County had an opportunity last year by actually having some talent on the field but it didnt work out. I think its a rebuilding year for them but they will surprise some teams. The fact they didnt really play any Freshmen or JV games last year will hurt their depth this year. With Coffee County returning so many starters, White County getting better every year under Malone, and Cookeville always being able to reload, the goals should be improvement based. Warren County's scrappy though so who knows.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
