I noticed he was feisty as well. And he makes sure to come over and tell them if they made a good hit or did something right. The last few defensive coaches just looked like a knot on a log. I saw a lot of one on one talks with players between plays with him too.

If they would've had him a couple of years ago, they would've been contenders.

I also liked what I saw with Clarence and the line.

Yeah, the coaching staff is looking a lot better. It's too bad we didn't have them in 08-09. We were so explosive on offense and scored the most points out of any team on just about every team we played. Even White House, but our defense was just so poor.

He happened to be the D coordinator at Cannon when they won district. So what's braniac Schrenk do? Ousted him before the following season to win just one game. You guys really do have a difference maker in Coach Berninger.

Played pretty good against Watertown last night. Offensively we moved the ball fairly easily. Just when watertown got the ball they did short runs over and over and ran the clock down after converting a lot of 3rd downs. We really need to get that run defense going sometimes we stuff the run then other times they bounce outside on us. Hopefully we can get that corrected. Went 1 TD a piece with them. Only played 3 quarters and only 2 of them was varsity the last one was back ups and they ran the whole 2nd quarter out running the ball.
