What are some of the better equipment and accessories that players wear these days? Equipment sure has changed over the last 20 + years...

 

What kind of rib protector does a QB wear?

Different brand names, and different types depending on what it is wanted for, prevention of injury or protection after an injury. Loss of mobility can be a problem with extra equipement.

According to their advertisement, 10 out of 12 SEC QBs last year wore the evoshield. It molds specifically to the individuals body and has hard pads in it, but is not cumbersome. That's what my son wears

thanks - that is the type pad system we used in youth football _ the flak jackets seem bulky and cumbersome.
