Scrimmage results: Freshmen: Cookeville 15 - SC 6, JV: SC 14 - Cookeville 12, Varsity: SC 7 - Cookeville 0.

SC varsity held Cookeville varsity to 26 yards in 25 plays.

Smith County was defined by their defense last year, and it looks like it's even better this year. Offense seemed to have trouble finding the endzone, but this was a 6a school they were playing, so i'm sure they'll do just fine against region opponents.
