We will see if the C - TRAIN gets Rolling this Friday, if not its gonna be a Long Season

Let's just assume we get the C-Train "rolling". The C-Train would have had to "roll" for 8 touchdowns in order for us to have won the game against Bradley. Only a measely 7 against Baylor as well as Red Bank. Pretty sure the I-Train doesn't "roll" this good.

Just a couple of numbers to ponder. 142 and 154. One is the number of points scored on us in 10 games last year. The other is the amount of points scored in 3 this year.

So if we can rely of the offense to put up 600+ yards a game and score 8 touchdowns, we should be fine from here on out.

foozballman, if you are serious in what you are saying, then you my friend have a dumb football mind. The scheme needs to be changed?? well it seems that soddy is running the same defense and scheme as they did last year right? If soddy's defense was pretty good last year on defense and they were running the same scheme as they are this year, then why are you blaming the scheme??

Ranger is 100% correct, yeah only 3 got both ways on the line. the starting 3 d linemen start on offense and other oline rotate on d line, also one of the lb's plays/starts at running back, and 3 of the DB's start at receiver. Foozball man if you can't even see to watch the players that are playing on the field you probably shouldn't be bashing the scheme and coaches. just saying!!

You should go to the coaches and tell them what they should be doing, since you know exactly what they should and shouldn't be doing. In soddy's defensive scheme you say that the DB's are supposed to cover the deep routes, funny you say that because last year the leading tackler was a corner!!! The defense that Braswell put in last year that he got from MTSU, the same one that he runs at East Ridge the same one that little Orr is still running at Soddy, the corners are in the run game. Foozballman, shows how much you know about Soddy's defensive scheme..

Wow, you really thinks that's the same defense Braswell put in last year. Afraid not. If you don't believe me, ask some of the players from last year and this year. "The longer the season went last year, the more we moved away from Braswell's defense". Thats a quote from one of last years starting DB's. I guess you also think Roberts is running Slaughters spread.

This is the same scheme that we ran in the 7 on 7's. The only problem is that it looked even worse then. Even then we had linebackers chasing receivers deep across the field. We just thought for sure it was going to change by the time we got in pads, but it didn't. So what your saying is the East Ridge has better players than we do and thats why their D has been better. Because obviously we are running the same scheme. Sometimes

you have 2 people driving the same car but 1 is a little faster because of the driver.

Just pay attention to what happens this Friday. Looking forward to it.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
