West is due to beat Farragut. They didn't even beat them last year (although they didn't really get going till after the Farragut game last year). Great move by the West coaching staff to move Francis to starting QB. Chait is a hard nosed guy that is good at lots of things. I believe he will help the team a lot more now that he can be used like he was last year. Passing game looked good last nite so.....

Just because they are due, doesn't mean they will win. Kentucky has been due to beat Tennessee for the last 26 years. I agree that West is a completely different team with Francis at QB, once he cam in the Maryville game they moved the ball at will against them. The big TE could do well in this game also. BUT, if Farragut's Defense(LBs and DL) continue to play at the level they have all season, I don't see West being able to do much. I think Farragut pulls this one out in a hard fought game. I also look for Farragut to throw it a bit more than they did last week(5 times). I heard that #34 will be back so that will be big for the Admirals.

I know that but I just feel like West is ready for this game now. Especially since it's the halfway point in the season (for West).

#34 had a full tear of either the ACL or MCL

I truly hate to hear that. Madison Brown has been an integral part of the Farragut team since his sophomore year.

As far as the team goes, #18 Jetton seems to me a likely candidate to get some snaps at TE. He has good size and speed. More importantly, judging by his interceptions, Jetton seems to have good hands. Finding someone who can fill that “go-to guy†role, especially over the middle, will be key. Madison Brown was very reliable getting open and catching the football, so his shoes will be extremely difficult to fill.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
