Let's hope not Swanson rbs or anyone for that matter will beat them. At half time it was 21 to 8 then our offense went to a 3yds and a cloud of dust running game it made no sense

haha, well we played a good one tonight for about 3 and a half quarters, so hopefully we can put 4 quarters together next week. Congrats on the win and we'll see you all next week.

Very very sloppy game! Play calling in the second half has everyone scratching their heads. Clay took advantage of the turnovers for sure. I agree with special teamed JC got lucked that game out.

Clay county played a heck of a game. JC was doing great in first half when they were PASSING the ball. What was the coach thinking in the second half?? The second half had nothing to do at all with the players...... absolutely poor, pittiful play calling by the coach. JC had to have thrown for close to 200 yards in first half and only threw the ball maybe 5 or 6 times in 2nd half. We had one game where we ran the ball, why would we try to do it in a tight game? Why would you stop doing what was working? The QB and receivers were really connecting and the offensive line was doing a great job. I think the coach owes the players an apology! JC could have won by 3 TD's easy ....JC very lucky!

Jackson County threw it 17 times (55%) in the first half and ran it 14 times (45%). In the second half they threw it 8 times (44%) and ran it 10 times (56%). They didn't exactly quit throwing. Just didn't have as many play oppurtunities.

Looks like he was 13 of 17 in the first half for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns. In the second half he was 3 of 8 for 39 yards and an interception.

Thanks for the stats. I was just guessing. Wonder what the running yards were? Howver, the stats speak for themselves. Most of the yards from the first half came from passing, not running. Why would we run more than pass in the second half? The ball was thrown less than half as much second half. The way #84 and #1 were playing, why wouldn't you go to them more? Once again, poor play calling. The percentage of running to passing was completely reversed. The running game was there last week and we took advantage of it, good job. Coach tried to force a running game with CC and it wasn't there. The main purpose of a spread offense is to find the defense's weakness and exploit it. It looked very obvious in the first half and the second.....

Jackson Co. had all the momentum. They stop CC on the opening series of the third qt, then JC fumbles the punt. JC did not respond on defense and allowed CC to drive right down the field for a score. A continuing problem is JC does not respond well on turnovers. I may be wrong, but it seems each time JC turns the ball over, the defense does not respond well.

JC did not run many second half offensive plays. Question the play calling, sure, its easy from the stands. But credit CC for controlling the ball. I thought the CC qb put his team on his shoulders and almost willed his team to a win.

When JC plays all four quarters, they are going to be a tough out.

With all that, a win is always better than a loss. Move on to RBS.
