TSSAA investigating Signal Mountain football program

The TSSAA sent two investigators to meet with Signal Mountain High School administrators and football coaches Thursday to inquire about the eligibility of a student-athlete.

That doesn't sound good for SM.

For those who know more about the TSSAA rules than I do. If this happens, then would they even be allowed to make the playoffs this year? I assume no, based on the number of wins alone. But, I didn't know if there was an actual rule.

They will be required to vacate 6 wins rather than forfeit. This would put them at 0-1 overall and 0-0 in the district. It may be possible for them to make it but it will be tough. The could endup 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the District. With the other district teams keeping the losses, it comes down to whether 2-0 wins the district.
