Coach Davis will have his team ready to play friday night. They have a shot at getting the number one seed in the quad for the playoffs if they win out. So this game and South Pitt and Meigs are big games but we got to take care of business this friday which I'm sure we will. Polk showed up last weekk and played like the team I thought they was with that hard hitting swarming the ball and with Pride. Looking forward for the rest of the season and a good playoff run. Polk wins by as many as Coach Davis will leave the starters in for which he will call the dogs off if it gets out of hand.

No kidding! Farmer kid on D had 18 tackles, int, fumble recovery, and like 5 or 6 hurries on the qb and all that with practically one arm. They came together and played their best game of the year.

Polk will not overlook Sequoyah. They have turned into the biggest game in the district the past few years for some unknown reason. They haven't scored on us in what 4 or 5 years? :roflol: Polk wins easily hopefully more than needed just to remind the Chiefs where they stand in the district :thumb:

Is there something in the water in Madisonville that gives these Sequoyah fans false illusions every year??? I've been watching games in this district the several years, and it's either been Meigs Co., McMinn Central, or Polk Co. taking the prize.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
