Footballer69
How good is St. George?
Usjbruin
Their running back is extremely good and Their oline was big but slow and our d line was able run right by them and free up the line backers to make plays. Usj's offense was able to throw all night and even got the run game going in the second half
Footballer69
So would a smaller but faster team do better against them than a big and slow team?
westtnman
If St. Georges plays the game they should play it will be 35-7 St. Georges. If they come out flat and slow it will be something more like 21-7. Either way St. George's running backs and recievers are not going to be able to be stopped by the smaller USJ defense. If special teams gets rolling for St. Georges they should be able to put some points on the board also. The St. Georges defense is going to have to key on Mayhall and the game is over Guess someone should have told you about the other 10 players on the field in addition to Mayhall, who had an unbelievable game again---but so did a lot of other players. C. Rushing had a couple unbelievable catches, and glad to A. Orr back after injury with a few key catches. O Line and D Line came out fired up with all the talk of how big St. George was. Great game. Usjbruin
Usj was much smaller and faster than sg. And we shut them down. So yes speed is deffinately more effective than size
