What has happened to WHH this year?

Heritage was expected to be a 5-5 or 6-4 team at best but what has happened? I haven't seen Heritage this down since the 2008 season.

Not sure. The coaches can probably answer that question. From what i saw this year it looked like the blocking seemed to hamper the running game alot. WHH was rarely able to chew up yards in sustained drives due to blocking problems. The D in turn was on the field alot. When that happens, you will see the D get burned due to the amount of time they are on the field.

Better question, With something around 15 seniors leaving this year what will happen next year?

Injuries,Blocking,Tackling,penalties and a need for better leadership from the players!

well i hope they can get the win this friday and put this season behind them. as for all seniors leaving i'm not sure what next year will bring but i can say things should be looking up for heritage in the next few years. With the middle school going 7-0 and some of the underclassmen showing promise,heritage could very well get back to the winning ways of the 06,07,09 and 10 seasons

This weeks TSSAA playoff standings still have WHHeritage in the playoffs, don't know if it is a combination of other teams losing or what but if Heritage wins this week they might still have a chance for post season.
