Not that this is very important, but Adamsville and Dresden have actually played 4 times. Series is tied 2-2, and this is the rubber match. Adamsville wouldn't have lost the '84 game had it not been played during a monsoon. That's all ancient history now though.

 

Past Games:

1979: Dresden 20-8

1980: Adamsville 40-8

1983: Adamsville 41-6

1984: Dresden 18-8

 

Also, though this may blow Dresden's mojo, Dresden is actually the favorite in this game according to the computers (the USA Today Massey Ratings that are used by all the newspapers) by about a touchdown. Adamsville is the underdog, but the Cards have beat the computers twice this season already (Riverside I and McKenzie). Can't get no respect!
