The Lebanon Girls basketball team startedout the season 1-4(including Hall of Fame games) and have two seniors that were contributers last year out with injuries. The team seems hopefull to be back and going by tourny time with the two seniors back. Is their start too bad to recover from or will they be a force to be reconed with in the latter part of the season with all their seniors back on the floor?

If they work hard in practice and put some extra time in shooting, they will improve. High school ball is all about the tournament and peaking at the right time.

To some degree, you might be right. High School ball has changed quite a bit though since that was the fact and criteria and the goals. Many times it has goals a little deeper and depends on the players and the goals they signed up with and the expertise they expected to be taught by a very fine coach. It may have been what they expected to do further in their career. It may be to compete for a District title. Expectations just mean a lot and peaking with the right tools means a lot.

Lebanon is a very young team. The teams main player is not a senior, she is only a junior. The future can be bright, it depends on the girls will to get better.

The girls last night pulled out a great win against Cookeville. The girls seemed to play with confidence and maturity that was missing in the pre-season. They also returned one of their other seniors. Now with more leadership on the floor things can turn around. Lebanon's other senior, she was #11 last year, is still out recovering from an acl injury. Lebanon girls have a bright future ahead of them. they have to continue to stay confident and keep growing in maturity.

Over the last few years, how many times has this happened? LHS is a thorn in Cookeville's side no matter where the game is played. but thats generally the first game of the season. The last game is much more of a match.

LHS is a team that is capable of stepping up just about any time they want to. The LHS/Cookeville matchup is one everyone wants to see. Good Luck.
