Is that score correct? 26 point defeat? I know LA isn't a real tough team, but what happened? It looks like those early scheduled games really payed off huh?

That is a correct score. 94-68. Something tells me you already knew that it was correct. It seems the cats are digressing somewhat. They lost to stone the first time by 2 in a game they should have won. Then lose round two by 26 and they were down by over 30 for a while. The prior game they beat a below average York team by 12. The loss of Huitt and Melton hurt them but their replacements(McCoin, Beaty) played a lot of minutes a year ago. Beaty's minutes a year ago took a major upswing when coach r.melton left. So inexperience should not be the problem. It also can't be depth because coach miller plainly stated, in his pre-game interview before the Macon Co. game, that this would be a MUCH deeper team than a year ago. It looks like they have some problems, but none that a weak district and 3 single A opponents(Pickett,Jackson,C'range)can't help.

Jackson County and Clarkrange are more for the girls game, there just happens to be a boys game later that night too...

Interesting score to say the least. Coach Buck really does a good job at Stone and I think he is one of the better coaches in the state. Looks like the Wildcats need to dig a little deeper and become a physical and aggressive team. That size should be hard to handle. I look for Coach Miller and the Wildcats to turn things around.

LA might wish they had the PC senior boys that went to grade school in Overton co.The Roop and Ferrall kid did not make the LA team after they left grade school somebody that big LA fan tell me why.Look like you need them when you play Stone at Stone

yep thought this was who you are, a Overton co. reject who couldn't play for LA so went to PC to play with the KY kids.

    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
