Scoreboard Assistant

If you're logged in and browsing the scoreboard you'll notice a new option that may be useful to you, especially as we close in on the postseason.

We call it the Scoreboard Assistant and, once activated, you will hear score updates read to you as they are submitted by the community. In-game updates and finals. Open the scoreboard, activate the scoreboard assistant and browse the message boards in a second window while you hear the latest scores read to you in the background.

You also have the ability to hear the last ten final scores posted to the scoreboard by clicking the "Last 10 finals" link.

The first time you activate the assistant you will be greeted with a small window asking for permission to connect the assistant to your computer. You must allow the access in order for the Scoreboard Assistant to function properly. If you allow the access and click the check box to remember the setting it will not prompt you again the next time you activate the assistant.

There may be some schools that are not pronounced correctly. That is something we'll be working on in the coming months.

Because of the costs associated in offering this feature, it may be necessary at some point to restrict it to only Plus members. But for now, take it for a test drive and see how well it works for you!

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
