A TEAMTN AAU Wrestling Tournament

Hosted by the Bulldog Wrestling Club

Bearden High School

Event Schedule is as follows:

All times are Eastern Standard

Saturday: Weigh-ins: All wrestlers must show AAU card at weigh in time.

AM Session Tots and Midget: 7:00 – 8:00 AM Wrestle at 9:00AM

Bantam and Juniors/Novice: 11:00 – 12:00 Wrestle at 1:00PM

MS/Schoolboy: 3:00 – 4:00 Wrestle at 5:00PM

 

Tournament Information for Kids of the following ages:

Tot 2006/2007 - Bantam 2004/2005 - Midget 2002/2003 - Junior/Novice 2000/2001 - Middle School 1997/1998/1999 *no 9th graders

 

Tournament format: Round Robin/Folder Style. Are goal will be to separate beginners and experienced in to different round robin brackets. Please rank accordingly: 1-State placer, region champ, 2- region placer, 3- near .500 win percentage. 4- first and second year wrestler with some wins, 5-first and second year wrestler with few or no wins.

 

NO WEIGHT CLASSES. We will group wrestlers at the conclusion of weigh-ins.

 

Registration Deadline: By Midnight Thursday, February 2, 2012 on unapproved website

Include: Name, Ranking (1-5), DOB, Weight class, AAU Membership #

Medals: 1st through 4th place finishers in each division.

Registration Cost: $10.00 plus current AAU membership card is required.

Late Registration: $20.00 (for all wrestlers who do not pre-register by midnight on Thursday)

Admission: $ 6.00 Adults and $ 3.00 Students

Coaches Entry: Current AAU membership card & Picture ID required to be on the floor coaching an athlete. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

*Note-Please email your complete coaches list to Donnie.floyd@gmail.com by 2/2/11. This is very important, only the coaches on this list will be allowed to receive a coach’s pass.

1 coach per 5 wrestlers not to exceed 8 coaches

 

This event is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U. S., Inc.

All participants must have a current AAU membership.

AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event.

AAU membership must be obtained before the competition begins except where the event operator has a laptop available with an internet connection.

Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site www.aausports.org to obtain their membership.
