I'll take Indy vs. Brentwood in the final. The Eagles have been playing some good baseball the last week and look for it to carry over. Coach Moore will have his guys ready to go. Unlike Centennial, Indy will be prepared for the bunt against Franklin.

 

It looks like Indy, the mighty pride of 11AAA and Williamson County baseball, has fallen hard. Even your poor predictions couldn't get them to advance.

 

However, my predictions at the start of the season with Brentwood, Franklin and Centennial battling it out still hold true as they are the three remaining teams in the tournament.

 

Note: The Indy comment is directed solely at IndyEagle09 and not the fine parents and players of the Indy baseball team that I know. I expect that Indy will be battling it out again next year.

I don't know about that. A large portion of what would have been their future talent just got knocked out of the 12AA semifinals.

Franklin wins the district title after beating Brentwood tonight 3-2 off a walk-off wild pitch in the bottom of the seventh. Franklin will host regionals starting next Monday, where these two teams will almost surely meet again for the region title Wednesday night.

Looks like the Franklin coach that is fired once the season is over is making the principal look pretty bad. He's getting a lot out of his players, even in the face of being canned. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Congrats Jason on making yourself feel like a BIG man and taking more shots at the principal of Franklin. You must go home and look in the mirror and flex! It makes you feel so BIG to take shots at FHS. You have no idea why things are done or not done and you think you are an administrator of the future. I sure hope once someone makes a mistake and hires you that there is not some little man out there that will come on a message board and belittle you too. Go make a Centennial thread and talk about Centennial and how great the school is and how great the principal is and move on

This message board should be about the teams performances and upcoming games; not rumors or speculation about a coach's future. No announcment has been made to Franklin players or parents but rumors have been flying for the last three years, this is nothing new for the program. People posting these things because they heard something keeps the rumors going. And if it is true, so what. He's the coach right now and his team just won the District tournament with three straight quality wins.

We can start a thread about "Upcoming Franklin Coaching Change" if you want, but since this is already a thread about 11AAA, and the district champ coach is out of a job soon, this is the place to discuss it.
