Memphis East @ Bartlett / Craigmont @ Memphis Central

East travels to Bartlett and Craigmont has to go to a red hot Central team. Central is still winning despite not even having Jarnell Stokes. Can the defending champs pull though?

Just from what I have learned in this season of high school hoops out of memphis I can't pick a winner but whoever wins will represent west TN well at the Boro :hungry:

Good luck to all from Dyer county :motorbike:

Dont count your chicks before they hatch :roflol: Craigmont has already been beat by a East Tenn team and theres been so many upsets STATE is up for grabs Knox West is a good team with 6 sr and was there last year @ S Hill has a good team that plays defence and can shoot the three I cant wait 2 watch all the games

Both games should be very good. Central and Craigont should match-up well with each other. I'm concerned about the match-up for Bartlett with East with the Mustangs talented and much bigger front line but Bartlett's back court is as good as anyone's and have been playing very well.

I won't begin to venture a guess who will win either game but it'll be fun either way.

Honest question without implying anything:

Do you think Science Hill and West can compete with any of the four teams remaining on the west?

Imo..usually no..possible ..yes...most years upper east teams one comes in witn a gaudy win lose record..I expect West to give to give the other 7 their biggest challenge ... all the high ranked AAA west tenn teams are gone ,supposedly leaving the west tenn middle row teams to play for the gold..can they win ..yes..I look for the mempho inner city teams to win but one never knows..Craigmont won state last year and and is posied to do it again..Bartlett is not improbale either to win a spot at state( I hope they do ).. have some more :popcorneater:

Yes S Hill can play with them. They played Oak Hill close just likethe Memphis teams did .They have good inside play along with good guards. There 9 deep play up tempo SHOULD BE VERY GOOD GAMES IF THEY CAN ALL MAKE IT YOU KNOW HOW THAT GO THIS TIME OF YEAR.S HILL DID LOSE THERE TOP 2 PLAYERS TO CHRIST SCHOOL OR I THINK THEY COULD HAVE WON IT GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS

If Applewhite and Nick King are shooting well then they both win. Central and East. I don't see Craigmont getting back to the boro. Not enough fire power. One thing I like about AAA, a Memphis teams is almost guaranteed to make it to the Boro

difference in tonight's craigmont/central game is even though central is playing well the chiefs have been there before...this will carry them into the state. glass slipper does not fit central tonight.

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
