Macon County State Champs!

I'll say this about Macon County---They gave CPA the best game of the tournament in the Region Finals. CPA had to rally in the last minute to tie the game by hitting 3 free throws with 1.8 seconds to go and then win in overtime.

They shouldn't have lost their sub-state game, but when you have to travel and play a pretty good team it is hard to win and anything could happen. Had Macon been able to win, then it would not have suprised me one bit to see them and CPA playing each other again.

Macon Co had a great yr. They had one of the ebst teams in the state. As Swanson sd, playing a sub state game on the road is tough

Calamity Coley, Katie Reid, Katelyn Bean, and Michela Thompson all graduate. Coley and Bean were the posts as everybody knows, and Reid usually played the 3 or 4 spot.

They need to lose their so called coach.

Macon will be a very good team next year. Their guard play will carry them.
