Chattanooga area scores

If you know of scores especially tournament results please this them in this topic and the game, then the result, can be added to the scoreboard. Some teams don't seem to be calling in wins or losses, they or their fans don't seem to care whether anyone reads about their team's results or not. Tournament games especially late on Saturdays, it's understandable how a lot of them don't go in.

 

Just needing date, teams and score, also if it's a tournament game between district teams please note that so it can be marked as a non-district game.

Agreed....seems that there are alot of missing scores already, as young as the season is.

Grace is one I was hoping to see scores on, they are 7-0 after yesterday but just have 2 results on here.

Tough loss for Sequatchie at Bledsoe, 3-0, an early district game. Sequatchie lost despite allowing just 2 hits, one each by the 8 and 9 batters. Bottom of the third, a slow hit ball into the infield is beat out. Next batter, the fielder thinks about a throw to second but waits too long and doesn't get the out at first, either, makes no throw, would have been an easy play. A mental mistake but probably not an error. Next batter, sacrifice bunt and an off throw hits the runner, instead of second and third with 1 out, the run scores then a groundout scores one more. Bottom of the fourth, two errors on the first two batters and one more scores.

 

Sequatchie had 6 hits off a good pitcher, 2 each by sophomores Cheatham and Moffitt. Seq had several strikeouts on called third strikes, some with runners in scoring position. All of Bledsoe's strikeouts were swinging. There were some hard hit balls caught for outs. Bledsoe had all but one of their outs on strikeouts or groundouts, just one late fly to left for an out.

 

Hopefully some games will be played this weekend (Meigs tournament), that's the best way to get over such a performance, get back on the field. I do think as more games are played-that was Sequatchie's second of the season-such problems will decrease.

Soddy 5 Baylor 4 at Brentwood. Anyone else have any scores from Brentwood? How did the other Chattanooga schools do?

Ooltewah went 5-1. Lost to Soddy 1-0 in semi final. Early inning throwing error scored the run and missed on chances to win it in last inning with bases loaded and 1 out.
