Cosby plays in the weakest district in the state in any classifacation. With that being said, the more than likely won't win their district. That should speak volumes as to the quality of the Cosby baseball team. The only wins they will have this year over TSSAA teams this year wil be over teams in their own district, unless they have scheduled Austin East.

 

They might make it to regions, but get blown out at that point.

I attended the Cosby- South Greene game yesterday in Newport. They started with a lefty, and SG couldn't hit him. He only pitched 2 or 3 innings and the coach changed pitchers. Maybe just giving him a little work before his next conference game. Don't know. But SG roughed up the rest of the pitchers scoring 14 runs, not sure how many hits but a lot. SG is a contender in their conference in AA so I wasn't surprised that we won. But the Cosby boys played hard. I couldn't say what they are like overall, just yesterday.

 

And Doyle, watch out for anyone carrying a sharpened blade around when you are taking a nap.

      Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.

      I think this goes on a lot more than most people know, maybe not finishing an entire geometry class in 90 minutes. This situation seems special.
