Big win for Rhea County. The Lady Eagles scored a run in the 3rd without a hit. Nikki Shelby was hit by a pitch to start the inning. She then stole second base, after a Walker Valley error, and a strikeout, Whitney Thompson laid down a perfect bunt which allowed Shelby to score from third.

Hanna Manley threw a five hitter, and had had 9 strikeouts. Rhea loaded the bases in the second with one out but Sidney Hooper got two strikeouts to end the threat.

Walker Valley had a runner thrown out at the plate in the 5th. They also left runners at second in the 1st, 3rd, & 4th.

Thompson had two hits to lead Rhea’s four hit attack. We get McMinn tomorrow, hope the Lady’s are up for it!!

I do not know how the bottom three will fall out. Did they not all go 2-10??? I do not know what tie breaker you would use, do you know???
