I would like to see any of the girls high school teams around here win a state champ. Would be a great thing for east tennessee. Would be even better though if it was Boone. Lol. I have gone quite a bit to watch myself but just to see what you think and maybe even tell me a different perspective try to go watch Grays girls play some next year and give me your thoughts. Either way though isnt it great to even be discussing DB girls bball again.

I also hate to see a great coach leaving, it will take alot to fill his shoes, but I'm not sure what you mean about VHS? they are still just middle of the pack?

Who were the finalists? I would have thought they could find a better person other than a middle school coach. Not that it is a bad hire or good one I guess it is like anywhere else stay within your family.

Regardless of candidates he was the best person for the job. I dont mean he was the best available or best possible or best of who applied. I mean he IS the man. DBHS girls bball is about to go through the roof. Lots of talent about to come from middle school and with great coaching, great things can happen.
