Bullldogs travel to Loretto. As of right now this is the fight for first place in the region. Thoughts

Not sure on this one. I think it comes down to turnovers (as does most games). First game Loretto had -4 turnovers, last night they had +3 turnovers with 2 picks. Loretto was a totally different team than they were in the first game, the loss seemed to have done them good, woke them up a bit. I think Loretto has played tougher teams to date than CA has which may help. CA always brings a great game and Loretto usually has a bad game, yes a lot of that has to do with CA being good. I think this is the year Loretto takes the win in a very close game.

I do think the region is wide open for whoever wants to take control. Every team has it's chance this year.

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
