Congrats to Polk. Well coached and did what Polk does best. Proud of Chargers. Score does not indicate this game. Did not give up. 35 is a great ball player.

Great game last night, it was fun to watch for any fan. If you liked slashing style runners, Chargers had that, If you liked to watch straight ahead, run over you style, Polk had that...(but 35 does have a few moves). Too many turnovers by both teams! I'll give the Chargers credit, they have improved and 2nd place ain't too bad!!

 

One more thing, Central doesn't have the greatest Football facility, but it's good enough. The visitor's bleachers are low and small, but they're tolerable once every two years. Heck there is a petting zoo for the kiddies......BUT,,,, getting out of that parking lot is horrible, would it kill the McMinn Co sheriff's dept, or someone to direct traffic for 30 minutes after the game?

Good post CM. Good Luck to your Wildcat's. They come out ready, hit us in the mouth early. MC got their wits about them defensively the second half, but to many turnovers to overcome when playing a quality opponent. Going into the half down by 10 opposed to 18 would have been helpful. I like the fight MC showed at the end. Unfortunate ending with the missed punt at the end to give Polk an easy touchdown. Would not take anything for (5) Boyd though, kid just trying to make something happen. 35 for Polk is a tough kid, 2nd half he was taking some shots, after giving shots the first half, but kept on running hard.

 

Now MC just needs to focus on rest of season, and do as you say CM and finish 2nd with a playoff opportunity.

 

CM as far as traffic goes- that is punishment for beating us at home.
