Last year the Canes topped the Panthers in regular season. then in the first round of the playoff the Panthers pulled the upset beating the canes, in one of the most gutsy performances. The Panthers undersized, out numbered played there hearts out and won the game. Then the next week played hard and lost to Giles by a TD.

 

Now with that said this one really sticks in the crawl of Cane nation, even more then the beat down by Signal, Ooltewah, and Bradley. Yea we lost and it hurt, but @ 11:18p that night the Brainerd coach on a TV sideline wrap up, shook his hands and said " The walls of Jericho have came down".

 

This will be our last football game Vs. the Panthers as we move up next year. The Brainerd Coach made this personal not us..
