I'm not going out on no limbs. My prediction is that Livingston and DeKalb meets in the district championship

York may supprise some poeple. They will be young but have some size. LA should still be the team to beat. Decalb will be experienced & tough. Melton will have the Owls playing well & may give all these teams a loss. Upperman definetly a contender! Imo the most balanced district we've had in a long time.

DC looked a little rough this weekend. Had three varsity games and jumped out to 15-18 to 0 to start all three. Still wound up behind at the half in all three. Went 2-1 for the weekend. (4-1 really, but the other two teams just played our jv.) our D definitely isn't at the level that it was last year, but I'm not too worried....it is the first weekend of the season and we got to play some solid teams.

Does anyone know why Molander and Phillips didn't play?

Molander says he doesn't wanna come back until December, which is understandable. His ankle was in pretty rough shape. Lucas played both games Saturday, though.

How did Phillips look.

From what all i heard......Phillips looked rough. Young and Howell looked rough as well. the roller kid have Dekalb a hard time with all the threes he put up

Oh I didn't knew Lucas played in the other games. I know the first game he didn't play so I figured he wouldn't play in the others as well.

Yeah I think he may have fouled out of both...not sure. And, tiger fans, I'm not sure what games you were watching but Ethan kept us in the games at several points...he sure didn't miss any more threes than anyone else, and ran the floor very well. This just can't be the Howell, Fullilove show for us to be successful this year.

It can't be young or Howell all alone. Look at last year. They didn't have much scoring help. But I was just posting off what I heard on wjle

Announcer said roller started hot and missed his next eleven there's and also said Atnip couldn't be stopped. Atnip is by far the best post who has came through Dekalb in a long time

The announcer, whom I was sitting in front of, got roughly 60% of the point tallies wrong. Guess that happens when you spend more time throwing in references to UT when you're supposed to be announcing. So take what you hear from him with a grain of salt. And yeah, Atnip had some great games this weekend. Especially so since he was playing injured Saturday.
