I haven't heard too much about DII players. As to the previous comment about Leigh Little from BA... she is a very talented athlete, but not the best softball player in the state. I do not claim that she is the best in the state, but I admit to being most scared of Father Ryan's Katherine Harrison while I'm in the batter's box. Her size and attitude contribute to her intimidation factor.

To Leigh-prove me wrong this season... your team is depending on you to step up.

along with stiles and frizzell....soddy has 2 seniors to watch. rachael harris pitcher injured last year. carried soddy to win state in 2000, back and healthy. lauren lasley left field. just as quick and covers a lot of ground. hit .300 as soph and junior. alisha johnson catcher solid behind the plate. .300+ hitter last year. both frizzell and harris love throwing to her.

Heather Brannon for Marshall County is a tough pitcher. She can throw 60 or 61, and has great movement on her pitches.
