Congrats to Sweetwater...Tyner had chances to put it away and two turnovers (fumble and interception) cost them 14 points...proud of the way Rams came back in 3rd quarter and took the lead 20-14...missed extra point was big !!

Sweetwater also had key turnovers. They didn't play as good as usual on offense. Defense played fair though. Proud of my cats

Well District 5 sucks enough for Sweetwater to beat Tyner. Tyner had some impressive wins, like over Signal Mountain and others,Now for a 5AA RUNNER UP, not district champs, when everyone counted them out, that's pretty good.

Mcminn Central only lost to alcoa 28-18. That's not bad either considering its alcoa

Dude Alcoa played their Freshman probably the whole 2nd half i would say they were nursing injuries from Cak game. and tyner please who knows which team will ever show up with that bunch but you. all will get your chance with the big boys this week

An 8-2 Tyner team. That's only 2 game of "not showing up" and sorry, polk county got beat. And I have a friend tht went, it was their starters. Mcminn central had a chance of winning but they missed 3 FGs which wuda made it 28-21 and mcminn central had the ball with 2 minutes left but turned it over. thts not bad for a 5AA team.

Very well said 5wildcat3. Sweetwater also had 2 key turnovers and they were both inside the 3yd line! So to say that Tyner had their chances and just didn't finish? Both teams had chances to score more points. The fact is Sweetwater was the team that controlled the line of scrimmage, even against that big line! Congrats to the Wildcats. One more thing the Cats also finished the game without a key senior #15 was out of the game much of the 2nd half and thats when Tyner started moving the ball and got caught up, to the Wildcats credit they came together when it counted and finished off Tyner without Arwood in the game!
