R.I.P. Senator

The world lost a good man yesterday. Billy Scott, aka Senator to coach t people, passed on to be with the good lord. Senator is well known throughout the upper cumberland region. He was a manager on the fab 5 team of 1964 from jackson county that went to state tourney. He kept the clock for the high school for roughly 35 years and loved his blue devils and lady blue devils. Billy was also a fan of all teams in the area. He has went with me to watch other teams play on numerous occasions and even did the radio broadcast on occasion for 104.7 out of livingston. Just wanted everyone to know that he had passed and keep his family in your prayers.

I will miss seeing his posts on here, it was obvious of his love of Jackson County sports. Prayers for his family and those closest to him......

The Senator was a mentor to me when I played and a dear dear friend after I was long graduated! Always had a smile and some sort of basketball talk for ya! The Upper Cumberland definitely lost a fine gentlemen. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family!
