We've had mediocrity or better for many many years in Cookeville. With a few years of very good football in between. You calling what Coach Maynord did at SCHS mediocre? You might see the REAL meaning of mediocraty when he's gone. I wish the best for Smith County. Coach Maynord is gonna try his hand at Cookeville. Where he lives.

Apparently these accusations that were made aren't true and haven't cost Coach Maynord a great opportunity. Congrats to him on landing the job to lead the Cavs! He is a great coach!
