Whats the deal with all these kids leaving BA? First the one at Smith County and now this...im not insinuating anything about GETTING them. Im just curious as to why they're leaving...can any one shed any light on this?

there's a big shakeup underway with the private schools in and around Brentwood

I think you'll be surprised at who shows up at BA in the fall

Thanks, Doyle. JustinCase has selective memory, you know. He only remembers negatives about FC and positives about public schools.

Everybody wants to complain about the private schools, nobody wants to work hard enough to beat them. Nobody complains about playing The King's Academy and everybody tries to schedule them, go figure.

Classic...0-forever vs whs this year and whs was humbled?

ANY team with hand picked players is going to be talented. Maybe cleve just gave the kid from his former team that came with him a heart check after they got stomped by close to half-a-hundred just saying.

Perspective...couple more games and y'all can focus on baseball. With this record looks like you have been focused on it since November.

You are hilarious, really. There is a very good chance Watertown will focus on baseball after 2 more games. They just beat a team full of sophomores and freshmen by 4, have a schedule full of wins vs sub .500 teams, 1 district title in the last 50 years, and have a history of choking in regional play.

I wouldn't be making any reservations just yet for the "Boro". However, should the glass slipper finally fit and the water kitties make it, ask any FC fan or player and we can give you directions on how to get there and what it takes to win it!

Well George you were right, looks like FC had a chance to win the game! What happened? How was FC able to come out and compete with H2O tonight?

FC took the air out of it and made Watertown play a 1/2 court game. Similar to last years Watertown vs clarkrange regional upset Watertown struggled when they can't get transition buckets or score to set up their press. They are very average in a half court offense. However, let them score in transition and press off made buckets and they are very comfortable. Cleve had a solid game plan and the youngsters FC have and the lack of depth are much more suited to this tempo.

  • 2 weeks later...

We can't win with home grown talent? Really? Out of our 7 state championships 6 of them were won with girls that were born and raised in Jackson County and their parents went to school there as well. We won our 1st state championship in 1973 going undefeated that year and then WON 4 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN A ROW IN CLASS AA WITH GIRLS THAT WERE ALL BORN AND RAISED IN JACKSON COUNTY AND MANY OF WHOM WERE THE DAUGHTERS OF THE WOMEN THAT PLAYED ON THE 73 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM! So when you get on here and blatantly lie about a school what does that say about you as an individual? :popcorneater:

I have seen posts on the baseball board as early as last year where the FC contingent openly admits to recruiting players so your state championships ARE tainted and will always have an asterik beside them.

Now DevilFanatic....who was the girl that moved in after being a stud at RBS or somewhere like that? What about 7 footer that never really panned out. Places that win dont have to recruit, besides if ya aint trying to recruit, your not playing the game these days! Everybody does it in some form or fashion....

(sing to the oak rigde boys tune)

All the gold

In Jackson Co

is in a bank in the middle of Gainsboro

In Buddy Browns name

so if your dreamin

about go-old balls

it dont matter at all what ya think is true

Jackson County is a whole new game
