Just wondered who y'all thought would be on the all district and region teams? Any thoughts on MVP. Frierson from MTP? Pigg from CWood? Clanton from SF?

From Summertown I see Luke Scott and Seth Wright.

 

MVP either Seth Wright or the Edney boy.

 

I think it depends on how the tournament goes. If we are picking to player that has the biggest role on a team, who is the most valuable to a teams success, then it's Seth Wright. You could give it to Edney but he doesn't provide success for that team. 5-5 in District play. 4th place in the district.

I would also say Montgomery from Collinwood but without Montgomery they would still be the best team in the District.

Without Wright from Summertown they are a 5-6 seed in this tourney coming up.

I've seen S-Town twice. That Wright kid controls the middle, haven't seen that much. Also I doubt that MTP could have been successful without Frierson. Both are good kids. Hope the best for both in the future.

I'm not going to make predictions on WC players but I will on the rest of the D12 teams.

 

Stown- I see Wright & Scott.

Cwood- Montgomery, Pigg, Andrews, Ray

PC-Edney & Bates

Loretto-Myhan & Burkes (Glass looked good against WC)

FH-Lineberry

 

MVP- Either Wright or Edney if not Co-MVP

 

I'm not sure how many are usually picked. These kids have caught my eye in the games with WC. I doubt all of these are picked just based on how many are chosen district wide. I figure Cwood gets 4 because of being #1 and the rest could have 2 or 3.

I think Wright gets MVP of D12.......his rebounding and ability to control the paint is by far the best in the district

Kinda funny story about the Wright kid..I heard his AAU coach tell another Coach this past summer that "Seth needed to pick up a new sport that he was wasting his time playing basketball"...happy for the kid

I know that coach. He's a joke. He's not a real basketball coach. He's just an adult that goes to games with the team. He swiped a large amount of money from the team last year too.

I watched him play AAU last summer and his competition was a lot stronger there than it is in D12. I think that AAU stuff might have helped him for now. Seth has had a good year.
