And in other news, NG started their season off with a good win over Chuckey-Doak.

 

UH is coming out of the gates hot this season. Wins against Happy Valley and Sullivan North I believe.

 

And Hampton run-rules Cloudland 12-1.

Unaka got railroaded by Volunteer 14-2 on Friday. The same Volunteer team who gave up 19 runs against Happy Valley the night before...

 

UH goes to 3-0 on the year beating Mountain City 2-1.

 

Hampton got beat at Cocke County 10-0.

 

NG gets past WG 10-9.

Rangers are struggling early NG and UH look to be teams to beat at this moment.

Unaka lost to Unicoi County today 12-0, but not going to complain much about it, cause Erwin has been doing that to everyone so far this year. The Blue Devils are looks pretty dang legit so far.

 

In an unrealated story, UH beats Cloudland twice by an aggregate of 42-1.

A few weeks left in the season, and things are shaping out like I thought they would.

 

NG still is the team to beat.

 

UH has cooled down from there rough start.

 

Hampton's only chance is if the TSSAA sends them to District 2 within the next week or two.

 

Unaka has been plaing well as of late. Split with UH, swept Hampton, beat a sound South Greene team and dicked around and blew a 7-5 lead on a good Elizabethton team with two outs in the 7th... entering a tough stretch, 6 games in the next 8 days, 4 of them district contests. Really wonder how their pitching will hold up. Although they could probably put the pitching machine on the mound today and tomorrow and beat Cloudland.. They have to save their best pitchers for NG on Friday and Monday, so that makes you wonder how they will fare with SG and Unicoi at the end of the week.

This may just be me but did anyone see what Vickers did from UH against Providence?!?!?! A cycle in reverse order! that's pretty Beast! Just thought I'd share if you didn't know!
