Suprise Knoxville Teams

We all know who the strongest teams in knoxville are. Tradition shows this year after year but I would like to know if there are any teams out there that could suprise us.

Seymour, However a strong start but history of No real Club in the area, plus lack of Big Game experience may reflect a Team that has only palyed weaker Competition. I do see that some of their wins are against Teams that have dominated the area in the past and they too had a good start this year(Oak Ridge comes to mind) HOWEVER This is a biggie, Oak Ridge is the only Team they have beaten with a winning record!! All teams have been cut short this season because of all the rain. Some how Coach Payne has managed to play all his 8 games, Kudo's to that and his great Start. They have no real Powers in front of them the rest of the season and could win out a First for Seymour and very hard to do in Knoxville, but then the real fun will start for them in Playoffs where the Big Boys usually dominate. I wish them the very best and everyone should give them their due!! They will NEVER get out of the Region though, Sorry about that to the Seymour players that are doing so well, but East Tennessee only sends 2 0f Only 6 Teams EVERY YEAR and it will be that way again this year!!i

I am glad to see Seymour have the success they are having this year. I have only seen them play once and that was a pre-season game against Powell. Powell lead 3-0 until about 15 minutes left in the game when the Powell coach took out the entire varsity and Seymour scored 3 goals against the JV. I say this because Powell has never been a strong program so I did not expect to see them have this kind of record this early along with a quality win over Oak Ridge. I wish the Eagles the best of luck this year
