I dont know the details on that just pointing to those outside the area more than a coaching change helped. I am hoping they do well, the assistant played here and some of the girls have played summer with one from here, her mother says theyre all good kids.

Congratulations to Coach Kirk and the Sale Creek softball team. Where they were and where they are now is awsome.

I can tell you that a coaching change DID help. There are several girls on the team now that did not play last year because they were not happy with the coach. They now have 2 good junior pitchers......it's nice to have that. It helps if one is not having a good night, the other can step in. This team has continued to surprise themselves. They have the talent, Clifford just pulls it out of them. Sometimes it has been painful (for Clifford and for the girls....haha), but now they are reaping the rewards.

 

I have known most all of these girls and their parents since they were born, I can assure you you won't find a better bunch of parents and kids around. They all have worked endlessly this year to make improvements to the field and to help restore the pride in their school! It's really paying off.....

 

With 4 8th graders and 2 that start, 1 freshman, 3 sophomores, and 4 juniors that start, I hope that you will see these girls do even better next year!

 

Excited to see where they end up this year! It takes a team.....not just one kid makes the difference!
