Kingston's next coach?

I heard a very qualified coach out of Anderson County had applied as well.

Yes.kingston at one time was probably top five best jobs in the state.but times have changed.but kingston still is a great job.pretty good homegrown talent pool.

We need a coach with a Kingston Connection not some guy from Georgia this time around. All the coaches iv seen mentioned so far have some kind of connection with Kingston

This is a delicate time for Kingston football.

They need to get some number up THIS year.

With CAK down and Loudon out, they need to make some noise NOW.

A #2 or 3 playoff seed should look pretty tasty...how hungry will they be?

Kids are hungry.just didnt like coach harrison to well.we have some talented freshmen this year.most of the backfield back.whoever is the coach should have some good atheletes to work with..well have a coach by this time next week.if not sooner. with summer ball coming up.

Or, u could just get the best most qualified coach from the pool of applicants and hire the best guy for the job. A good coach doesn't have to b a hometown boy to get kids out to play and put lots of energy into the program

He will probably turn it down.not sure if they have contacted panky yet..im worried it may end up being another out of towner.or a desperate hire from somewhere small..

Kingston can be a pretty good job. I don't think you all need to limit yourself to a hometown boy, just because they played there doesn't mean their the best coach. I agree with volsrock hire the best most qualified coach. I know you guys feel you got burned by Harrison, hes an out of towner who pulled a Kiffin on you, but there are plenty of coaches that will respect tradition and want to be a part of that tradition rather than change it. Good luck in your search, but don't limit yourself.

 

Also, I don't think Pankey wants it. I do know someone from Knox County that said they want to look into it & an earlier post mentioned someone from Anderson Co. So again don't limit yourself.

I hope that the administration has learned their lesson about hiring outside of the local community. Forget anyone outside of Kingston, Go local! Collier, Panky, or Brackett. Someone that truly bleeds Orange and Blue.
