Walker Valley @ Bradley Central

Recommended Posts

At this point I have to say I agree. Walker Valley is playing solid ball, and Bradley isn't sound. This week is going to be hard on me, when it comes to saying who will win. Heart or head?

I just hope the refs have nothing to do with it one way or the other. I mean no game changing calls that are close. Turnovers might decide this game. Hard to say Bradley has backed into a couple of wins and WV has had a few things go there way with turnovers and some big plays. One thing is neither coach has let their teams drop their heads after being down. Just off of what they've done. WV by 7 to 10. Without turnovers.

I agree with a head vs. heart pick on this one...which to do?  Bradley would seem like the head choice, but they have struggled with teams they should handle.  Just look at the stats Friday.  Hixson ran the ball all over them, and they managed single-digit rushing??  Really??

WV has backed into a couple wins this year, but seem to have played Rhea solid.  However, several who were there said Rhea beat themselves, just like Sequoyah did with WV.  Regardless, they're finding ways to win, and that's what matters in the end.  Still hard so see either of them doing well through the Cleveland-Ooltewah-East Hamilton stretch...but I digress.

They play at Bradley, so that's good for a few points.  Also, history has Bradley's side.  I'm gonna say Bradley in a pride game, but by less than 14.

I agree on this. I hope the teams decide it not the ref's on a controversial call.

Bradley has shown the ability to come back and win when it's on the line. Even tho they lost to Polk, They did make up a lot of ground late to make it a 2 point game and have a chance to tie. Against Hixson they did just enough to get the "W". Problem is that kind of play will bite you, more often than not.

Bradley just hasn't impressed me at all

Unfortunately, me either.

Being at home is always a plus, but I am not sure how much it helps in the cross town rivalries here. Too much familiarity amongst the teams and fans. And travel is no issue at all.
